Our Mission
At Project Good News, we believe that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for. Our mission is to serve the homeless and those in need by providing hot meals, hygiene products, and essential items, while also offering the hope and salvation of Jesus Christ.
In 2024, after a deep and convicting conversation with God, we felt an undeniable calling to step out in faith and make a difference. We are driven by the love of Christ and the command to care for the least among us (Matthew 25:35-40). More than just meeting physical needs, our mission is to restore dignity, provide encouragement, and share God’s love in a tangible way.
Project Good News is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization sponsored by Iglesia Pentecostal JesuCristo El Salvador. Through the support of generous donors, volunteers, and community partners, we are able to expand our reach and bring real change to those experiencing homelessness.
We believe that true change happens through both action and faith, so we are committed to not only serving but also building meaningful connections with the people we help. Every meal we serve, every hygiene kit we distribute, and every word of encouragement we share is done with a heart full of compassion and a desire to reflect Christ’s love.
What We Do:
At Project Good News, we go beyond charity—we offer hope, support, and a sense of belonging. Our work focuses on three key areas:
Providing Essential Resources

Hygiene Kits – Soap, toothpaste, deodorant, and other necessities

Clothing & Blankets – Seasonal items to help with comfort and warmth

Basic Necessities – Socks, water bottles, backpacks, and more
Sharing the Love of Christ

We not only meet physical needs but also offer prayer, encouragement, and the message of salvation

We engage in one-on-one conversations, reminding each person that they are loved, valued, and not forgotten

We hand out faith-based resources such as Bibles and devotionals
